Why this exists
I built it to understand astrology – not just store it.
It started as a way to organize what I was learning. I wanted to internalize astrology, so I built it inside Tana, one concept at a time – and something clicked. Astrology is one of the most beautifully structured systems there is: planets rule signs, signs hold decans, elements thread through everything, signs sit in opposition. In a book those are sentences to memorize. In Tana they're links you can follow – so studying became exploring. I always meant to share this. Here it is.

Why Tana,
and why it matters.
It's the relationship graph, made navigable. In the Copilot, a planet links to the signs it rules; a sign links to its decans, its element, and its opposite; a placement links back to the meaning that explains it. You don't read about how astrology connects – you click through it. That's what makes Tana the right home for a system this structured.

Do I need a Tana account? +
Yes. The Copilot is a Tana template, so you’ll need a Tana workspace to duplicate it into. The free tier is enough to start; the AI contemplation draws on Tana’s built-in AI credits. If you’re new to Tana, the welcome page after checkout includes a short setup guide.
Does it use my own AI, or do I need an API key? +
It runs entirely on Tana’s built-in AI – no separate API key, no extra subscription. The AI commands and the contemplation engine draw on your Tana AI credits, exactly like any other Tana AI command.
What is the contemplation engine? +
It’s the Cosmic Codex contemplation flow, rebuilt inside Tana: a small panel of four AI agents that take a placement – say, Moon in Scorpio in the 8th – and reflect it back from several angles, psychological, alchemical, and practical, grounded in the wisdom base.
Can I use it to read other people’s charts, not just my own? +
Yes. The contemplation engine reads placements, so it works on any chart you add to your workspace – a partner’s, a friend’s, a client’s. Add their data as another chart layer and run the same commands. It’s a standing reading instrument you keep, not a single-chart report.
What’s the difference between the two tiers? +
Self-serve ($97) ships the complete template as a Tana duplication link and you enter your own birth data. Done-for-you ($127) is the same template with your natal and solar-return chart already filled in by me, from your birth details – so the moment you open it, it’s already your chart.
How do I claim the free Cosmic Codex subscription? +
Both tiers include 3 months of free access to Cosmic Codex – the web app (the $18/mo plan, a $54 value) – plus a skip past the waitlist. Can I share or resell the template? +
The template is licensed for your own use. Please don’t redistribute the duplication link – keeping it personal is what makes it sustainable for me to keep building.
Is my chart data private? +
Yes. Everything lives inside your own Tana workspace – I never see it. For the done-for-you tier you send your birth details once, and they’re used only to pre-fill your chart.
Is there a Portuguese version? +
English first. A Portuguese edition is coming – there’s a place to tell me you’d like it on the welcome page, which helps me prioritize.
Is this for Tana Outliner or the new Tana app? +
Tana Outliner – the original Tana. The Copilot is built on Outliner’s supertags, fields, AI commands, and agents, so duplicate it into a Tana Outliner workspace. It isn’t built for the newer “Tana” app (sometimes called New Tana). If you’re not sure which you have, the welcome page after checkout shows you how to tell.
Can I really run the AI as often as I want? +
Yes – every command and agent runs on your own Tana AI credits, the same as any Tana AI command. Read a placement, re-read it next season, analyze a new chart, generate a solar return – as often as your Tana plan’s credits allow. There’s no extra per-reading charge from me and no separate subscription.
