Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By visiting cosmic-codex.com, joining the waitlist, or creating an account in the Cosmic Codex app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What the service is

These Terms cover the Cosmic Codex app – an interactive web application that explores Astrology, Human Design, and Gene Keys based on your birth data. Available in free and paid tiers.

The Cosmic Operating System mentorship is a separate 1:1 engagement governed by its own signed Mentorship Services Agreement provided at enrollment; it is not covered by these Terms.

The service exists to support your personal development and spiritual exploration. It is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you need professional help, please seek a licensed professional.

3. Accounts

You can create an account using a magic-link email or a supported single-sign-on provider. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Paid subscriptions are processed by our payment platform (currently Hotmart). We do not see or store your full card details. Pricing is shown at the point of purchase. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Cosmic Codex name, brand, written content, code, designs, and knowledge graph are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the service for your own use.

Anything you create inside the service – saved insights, notes, journal entries, profile context – belongs to you. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service for you.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time from the app's Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, attempt to harm the service or other users, or use the platform for illegal activity. Where possible, we will give you notice and a chance to resolve the issue first.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any insight, reading, or AI output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Where mandatory consumer-protection law – including Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (CDC) – grants you rights that cannot be limited by contract, those rights prevail over this section.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Rio de Janeiro, unless local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring the claim where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for active users, send notice by email or in-app message and, where appropriate, ask you to confirm your acceptance inside the app. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
